I’ve spent a lot of time recently with the thought that some day the time of life that I’m living in right now is one that I’m going to relish, perhaps even wish I could have back. Most of it has to do with the pleasure of having two children, a stable marriage, a job and a house that we own. There are a lot of responsibilities tied up in all of that, and some important future decisions, to be sure. However, I constantly find myself amazed at and grateful for how full of joy my life is right now. The key is not to hold onto it too tight and to embrace whatever changes are coming.
